Hey my name is Kirsti, and I am the creator of the Balanced Health Method (BHM)
The Balanced Health Method is a method that consists of all the main things we need to thrive in life: nature, safe social connection, movement, nourishment, rest, challenge and play.
Over my lifetime, I have found that these are the fundamental needs of survival (and money too haha but you can be super wealthy with bad health, you still need your health).
When these are significantly out of balance - this can lead to disruptions in our internal ecosystem, such as emotional imbalances, excessive stress, excessive worry, excessive overthinking, autoimmune diseases, depressive states and more.
From my own lived experience and working with 100’s of people, I have found when we have the fundamentals in check where we are:
- moving daily and leading an active lifestyle
- we are nourishing ourselves with healthy foods
- challenging our bodies and minds just enough
- taking time rest and pause bringing stillness to the body and mind
- connecting with people that help us feel safe, supported and empowered
- spending time outside
- laughing more
- being more free
we feel more balanced within.
It might sound like a lot to manage, but in reality - when you have the fundamentals down - it actually becomes super easy, without thought.
Just like a habit you have right now that maybe you don’t like, it’s automatic right?
Without thought you just do it.
It’s the same with Balanced Living - it can become automatic.
Learning how to rest when needed, push forward when needed and/or take time to play - the art of balance.
Now this is not to say life will feel balanced externally because of these actions, but what happens is when we are more often balanced internally with a strong body and mind - our ability to handle external stress is so much better and this improves our human experience.
We’re able to handle and feel the big emotions and then move forward - not having the experiences we face cripple us. We don't crumble at the smallest inconvenience such as being stuck in traffic, or being delayed.
Because we have the support, we have the strength, we have the health to do so.
We are warriors.
Life stressors will always be there, but the actions we do for ourself will determine how we want to respond and our quality of life when experiencing these.
Clear thinking minds, means more chance to decide how we want to respond.
This can improve our day to day thinking, how we see ourselves, how we see situations, improve our relationships, improve our work quality and more.
Stronger and fitter bodies, means we are able to do the things we love with ease.
Whether it be playing with your kids, working hard, gardening, sporting adventures, ageing.
Even simple things like walking up stairs without getting out of breath, or bending down to pick something up without back pain - these things make the world of difference to quality of life.
Stronger bodies means less injuries, which means more time for living.
I don’t think I need to tell you how important all these things are, what I do need to share is that if you have ever found it hard to stick with movement, or healthy eating, or any sort of wellness plan - then I encourage you to experience the Balanced Health Method.
Because the best plan is one you can stick to, the one you can stay consistent with and the one that transforms you and your life.
That is what the Balanced Health Method is designed around and will do for you if you commit to yourself.
We wrap all these fundamentals for Balanced Living up into a simple yet effective (and fun) delivery so you can start evolving today and become Balanced For Life.

A little about Kirsti
A wife to a beautiful man, 2 beautiful dogs and 14 chickens! I have beautiful parents + parents in law, sisters, nieces and extended family. I love to live a life surrounded by nature, animals and good people.
I love adventure
I do love the adrenaline hit, and I am willing to give anything a go - even if I am scared. The feeling of being free, moving my body and doing something challenging is like no other.
I love helping people see their potential
I love leading adventurous challenging activities also! I love seeing people push past their perceived limits within themselves, leaving them feeling alive! That's why I do what I do. When we lean into challenge, it reaffirms the self belief "I can do the hard things" and confidence grows.
